As one may expect from a cannabis-friendly ad network, MANTIS experienced a large increase in traffic on 4/20 (shown in the chart below). International coverage of the “holiday” helped fuel the growth, pushing additional users to search and share cannabis-related content that they couldn’t help but see in their news/social feeds.
As such, advertisers may find it beneficial to plan ahead in 2016 by creating strategic marketing campaigns that are designed to take advantage of the increased exposure that exists over this 24 hour timeframe.
